The Best of the Best on social media and why

With so much out there in social media and the endless world of blogs, it is hard to keep track of the ones you wish to remain loyal in following and subscription. We live in an age where time is money and we want our fashion fix, fitness inspo, and wedding daydreams at our fingertips. Here are a few of my favorite sites and accounts that I always find myself coming back to.

Sincerely Jules is founded by Julie Sariñana. I love that her style is feminine but accessible. A scuffed pair of trainers with a flirty dress, or cotton draw waist shorts paired with a sweet blouse setting off a leather jacket. She has a gift of putting things together that make you think “Oh I have something in my closet like that too! I never thought of pairing it that way!” I always reference her blog in times I’m not quite sure how to wear that same denim skirt again without repeating an outfit. She displays herself in a respectful manner and I get the impression she is a class act woman with talent and work ethic. Her gifts have even grown into a fashion line, Shop SJ, that I find very well executed and appropriately priced. Her photographs and material are all visually stunning and I trust her creative forecasting and want to support it. @sincerelyjules

Leonie Hanne might arguably be one of the most beautiful blondes alive. This little German native has this complete naturalness to her that seems to come effortlessly and all wrapped up in her trademark halfsie bun. Aside from just being adorable, her style is as romantic as her travels. And well traveled she is. You can’t help but get carried away on her adventures, her perfect dinner settings, and playful dress ensembles. I can’t help but want to raid not only her closet, but also her passport. She writes in both English and her native German, but even when I can’t translate, I have admiration that she sticks to who she is. Sigh, its the kind of jealous you don’t even feel guilty for. @ohhcouture

I found Rodrigo Trevino (How cool is that name?) on Instagram and immediately couldn’t get enough of his work. This man is a photography genius. Currently he is living out of his Jeep for the next 6 months and I can’t wait to see where adventure takes him. Being a wilderness lover and outdoors advocate myself, I became a big fan. I really don’t think there is a single one of his 842 posts I haven’t double tapped. Upon looking at his work, you feel an immense sensation of wonderlust. The locations themselves are beautiful, but his stunning workmanship behind the camera is what really sets him apart. On days I feel trapped in my LA apartment with the city soundtrack of helicopters and sirens, I look to his account for a dream to take me away, and it always does the trick. @rodtrvn

Style Me Pretty Weddings has always been a favorite of mine, even long before I got engaged. They have this wonderful feature called ‘The Vault’ which is an easy to navigate collective of images to inspire your big day. Their Vendors Search is so helpful. All you have to do is type in the city you are planning to hold your wedding and discover nearby venues, florists, entertainment, planners, etc. There’s just SO much material they cover. They even expanded into a SMPLiving. Going beyond weddings into the world of Interior Design, Entertaining, Home Life, Travel, Fitness, Beauty, Family, Fashion…. I really could go on. It’s a site that is very well organized and easy to navigate. Writers are well spoken and visuals are on point. They just do a fantastic job and I always leave their site with an insane impulse to de-clutter my closet, run off to some cinematic elopement, or maybe throw a super chic dinner party.

Bridal Musings was one of the first accounts I came across after Adam popped the question. I was new into all of the planning and Elizabeth and Claire answered so many questions I never even knew I had. When I first began looking at wedding venues, It was their list of 65 questions I brought along with me. I can’t get enough of their ‘Real Weddings’ and find reading about other couples journey in this new stage is so romantic and inspiring. It’s also refreshing that they are developing a new column: ‘Wellness Tips’ on their site. As I am a very visually inspired creative, I also respect when blogs take a leap into greater depths. Planning a wedding and the experience of sharing life with another person is such an amazing time. But it can also be very stressful, kick up a lot of anxiety, insecurities and fears. I am excited to see more in the development of this new category. @bridalmusings

One of my greatest passions in exploring the great outdoors. For me, my church is in the valley looking upon a mountain or feeling small beneath a canopy of trees. Rocky Mountain Bride inspires me in that a lot of their material is sourced and pulled from some of my favorite places: Montana, Colorado, Idaho and more. I could read about and explore all of the creative ways people utilize natural environment and never tie from it. In fact, it is a dream of mine to someday own a venue of my own in one of these mountain getaways to host and plan weddings. This is the site that helps keep that dream inspired. @rockymtnbride
